Ragging in any form is prohibited at Anjuman-I-Islam’s Allana Institute of Management Studies. AIAIMS has ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY towards ragging. It is a punishable offence as per the guidelines of Honorable Supreme Court of India, guidelines of AICTE Notification File No.37-3 / Legal / AICTE/2009, Dated - 1.7.2009 and Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999.

 
   
Social Responsibility
   

 

We at Allana Institute of Management Studies every year undertake one social responsibility project in the first year of our programme. Lot of emphasis is laid on corporate social responsibility. We work with one NGO every year in the areas like education, health, livelihood creation, skill development, and empowerment of weaker sections of the society.

We the students of MMS batch 2009-11 worked with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI) is a charitable non-profit voluntary organization founded in the year 1985. The society of India established in 1985 is the only Society in India working for those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – A chronic progressive incurable disease of the Central Nervous System, in which simplest everyday tasks can no longer be taken for granted.

We collected an assortment of donations to the tune of Rs.25,000/0 (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand only) and they handed over this amount to MSSI in the month of April 2010. Some of us also donated medicines and clothes to the patients. We also visited some of the patients of MS in and around Mumbai. We got friendly with them and counseled them on various issues such as their professional progress, entertainment.
